Francs Borains heeft een eerste inkomende transfer gedaan. De Henegouwers maakten maandag bekend dat Wilkims Ochieng vanaf deze zomer de rangen komt versterken.

De 21-jarige Keniaan was bijna twee seizoenen op zoek naar standvastigheid nadat zijn contract bij Club NXT in 2022 afliep. Op dat moment had Ochieng 15 duels meegespeeld in 1B.

Na zijn vertrek in ‘The Nest’ had Ochieng moeite met het vinden van een nieuwe club. Uiteindelijk duurde het tot januari 2023 vooraleer hij die vond. Ochieng ging aan de slag bij het Sloveense FC Koper waar hij in het daaropvolgende halve seizoen 9x mee mocht spelen. Maar het Sloveense avontuur liep vorige zomer al snel weer af waarna Ochieng een volledig seizoen moest wachten om opnieuw een kribbel onder een contract te zetten.

Bij Francs Borains hoopt de jonge winger om opnieuw spelplezier te vinden.
