De uittocht bij Francs Borains gaat gestaag verder. Nadat de club eerder al bekend maakte dat het afscheid neemt van Clément Tainmont, Adrien Saussez, Hedy Chaabi en Benjamin Boulenger, werd nu ook Thierno Diallo uitgewuifd.

In tegenstelling tot de vier andere vertrekkers, behoorde Diallo tot het beperkte groepje van jong, talentvol geweld van Francs Borains. De 19-jarige middenvelder kwam in de zomer over van de beloften van Charleroi en ontpopte zich quasi meteen tot een belangrijke pion op het middenveld. Maar midden januari sloeg het noodlot toe. Diallo raakte zwaar geblesseerd en kwam tot op heden niet meer in actie.

Ondanks die zware tegenvaller had Francs Borains het aflopende contract van de jonge diamant graag opengebroken. Maar Diallo besliste dus om niet in te gaan op het contractvoorstel en om zijn nog prille carrière elders verder te zetten.
