Op de 31e speeldag is de strijd om het kampioenschap in 1e Nationale helemaal gestreden. Al was er de laatste weken van een strijd niet echt meer sprake. Na de promotie van zowel La Louvière als Lokeren-Temse slaagde enkel La Louvière erin om op haar elan verder te gaan waardoor ze de voorbije weken een enorme voorsprong uitbouwden en zich dus drie speeldagen voor het einde tot kampioen kroonden.

La Louvière won in eigen huis met 3-1 van de beloften van AA Gent terwijl Lokeren-Temse thuis met 1-3 onderuit ging tegen (oude bekende) RE Virton. Hierdoor heeft La Louvière met nog drie speeldagen te gaan een onoverbrugbare voorsprong uitgebouwd van 13 punten.

Jorn Vancamp (ex-Beerschot) was met twee goals alweer de grote man bij de Wolven. Vancamp zit zo al aan 21 goals in 31 duels voor La Louvière. Maar hij is lang niet de enige die vlot weet te scoren. La Louvière werkte dit seizoen al 75 ballen tegen de touwen terwijl ze ook maar 15 goals binnen kregen. Daardoor staan ze nu dus te blinken met een duizelingwekkend doelsaldo van +60.
