Na Teddy Chevalier (RAEC Mons) heeft ook Dimitri Mohamed beslist om de Challenger Pro League vaarwel te zeggen. De 34-jarige Franse Algerijn gaat het seizoen volmaken bij eerstenationaler Winkel Sport.

De West-Vlaamse club huurt Mohamed tot het einde van het seizoen, maar de kans lijkt onbestaande dat Mohamed nadien nog terugkeert. De ex-aanvoerder van Moeskroen kwam niet aan spelen toe bij Francs Borains én heeft er ook een aflopend contract.

Maar ook bij Winkel Sport ligt er niet al te veel toekomst voor de robuuste verdediger. De club van onder meer ook ex-1B’ers Jérémy Perbet en Nicaise Kudimbana besliste eerder dit seizoen dat het er na deze voetbaljaargang een punt achter het eerste elftal zet omdat de hoofdsponsor van de club naar Roeselare gaat. Mohamed speelde de voorbije jaren meer dan 70 duels in 1B en meer dan 170 duels in 1A.
