Denderdoelman Xavier Gies moet een week langs de kant blijven na een interventie van de Reviewcommissie en het duo Sem Audoor (Club NXT) – Josue Ndenge Kongolo (Jong Genk) liep vorig weekend tegen een vijfde gele kaart aan en is dus automatisch geschorst.

GELE DREIGING

Intussen loopt de lijst van spelers met een gele dreiging wel wekelijks op; dus de kans is heel groot dat sommigen komend weekend al meteen hun laatste match van 2023 spelen (als ze tegen een vijfde gele kaart aanlopen).
